Force Fed Films: "Dear Zachary: A letter to a Son about His Father".

If you haven't seen this movie, and want the full effect of the movie, please don't read my thoughts after the jump. Watching the movie after reading what I thought, doesn't do justice on what the film tries to do.
I am just speechless after seeing this film. Jim told me to see it, and he insisted I do not IMDB it or even google it. I did not even read the synopsis on the back of the film to know what it is about. I popped the movie in and watched it in one sitting, not at all sure what to expect.

There is not much to say about this movie. It is a story about Kurt, who is Andrew's best friend, who sets on a cross continental trip to film a documentary on Andrew for his son Zachary. That is really all I want to tell about what the movie is about.

I do love to watch documentaries and this is one of the best I have seen. The roller coaster of emotions I felt through the film was intense. Kurt does an amazing job expressing the emotions throughout the whole film and presents it in a way that is homely. But again, there is not much I can say that would do express how amazing this documentary is. So go, watch the movie and feel free to comment your thoughts.

  1. Awesome movie and so glad Jim made you watch it. The most accurate description I can give of my feelings are that it destroyed me like no other film before or since has managed to do.
